Location: New York office (on-site), with daily support coverage for all North American boutiques

Employment type: Full-time, entry-level

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with rotating coverage during peak retail hours and holiday season

About Crémieux

Maison Crémieux is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1976, with boutiques in Paris, London, New York, Palm Beach, Bal Harbour and Saint-Tropez, and an exclusive department store partnership with Dillard’s in North America. Our boutiques are the heart of the brand—and the systems that run them need to work flawlessly, every day.

The Role

We are hiring a Shopify Retail Support Specialist to be the dedicated point of contact for our retail teams whenever they need help with our Shopify POS and Shopify online store. When a sales associate in Palm Beach can’t process a return, when the store manager in Bal Harbour needs a new product published, when inventory isn’t syncing correctly in New York—you are the person they call.

This is a hands-on, service-oriented role sitting in our New York office. You will not be running e-commerce strategy; you will be the operational backbone that keeps every boutique’s Shopify environment running smoothly so our sales teams can focus on clients.

What You Will Do

  • Boutique help desk. Serve as the first line of support for all boutiques on any Shopify POS or online store issue—by phone, email, and chat. Resolve issues quickly or escalate cleanly when needed.

  • POS configuration and troubleshooting. Set up devices, register users, adjust permissions, fix receipt and payment issues, and keep every store’s POS running without friction.

  • Shopify app management. Own the day-to-day operation of the apps installed on our Shopify stack (inventory, clienteling, loyalty, reporting, returns). Handle configuration, user access, integration checks, and vendor coordination.

  • Online store operations. Publish and update product pages, manage collections, upload imagery, adjust pricing and availability, and make sure the online store stays accurate and on-brand.

  • Inventory and order flow. Monitor stock synchronization between boutiques and online, flag discrepancies, and help resolve order, refund, and exchange issues.

  • Training and documentation. Build simple, clear guides and short training sessions for store teams so they can self-serve on common tasks. Update documentation as tools and processes change.

  • Process improvement. Spot recurring issues and propose fixes—whether that’s a workflow change, an app swap, or a new training module.

Who We Are Looking For

This role is an excellent fit for someone early in their career who is digitally fluent, energetic, and genuinely enjoys helping people solve problems.

  • Shopify knowledge is essential. You have direct hands-on experience with Shopify—ideally both POS and online—whether from a prior role, an internship, a personal store, or freelance work. You know your way around the admin, products, orders, discounts, and apps.

  • Digitally native. You pick up new SaaS tools quickly, you’re comfortable in spreadsheets, and you’re not intimidated by integrations, CSV imports, or basic settings in third-party apps.

  • Service-minded and patient. You understand that a store associate mid-sale does not need a technical explanation—they need a solution, fast, and a calm voice on the other end of the line.

  • Clear communicator. You can explain a fix in plain language, write a short how-to guide, and keep tickets and follow-ups organized.

  • Reliable and proactive. You follow through. You flag issues before they escalate. You document what you do.

  • Retail or hospitality exposure is a plus. Experience working in or supporting a store, restaurant, or hotel—any environment where operations have to run in real time in front of customers.

  • French is a plus. Not required, but helpful for coordination with our Paris headquarters.

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with a French luxury fashion house at a moment of real growth in North America.

  • Sit at the intersection of retail, technology, and operations—a strong foundation for a career in either direction.

  • Small, collaborative team where your work is visible and your ideas are heard.

  • Competitive entry-level compensation, benefits, and employee wardrobe allowance.

How to Apply

Send a short cover note and your résumé to online@cremieuxusa.com. Tell us, in a few sentences, about a time you helped someone solve a problem with a system or tool—we care more about that story than about a long list of credentials.

Maison Crémieux is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and evaluate every applicant on the merits of their skills, experience, and motivation.
